Project participant Alina Indyk shares her impressions of the meeting.


Our generation has had not an easy life, and all of the troubles led to many diseases. We have been cut off the society, lonely, each of us was struggling with psychological difficulties and everyday problems on our own. But when we started taking part in the “Organization of leisure for the former concentration camp inmates, prisoners of war and victims of the Nazi regime” project, which is held by the ” Kiev Municipal League of Public Organizations of People with Disabilities” with the support of the Foundation “Remembrance . Responsibility. Future , we felt that we are protected, fed with energy, and it is easier for us to deal with the difficulties and disabilities.

Thank you for not being indifferent, for providing some advice, organizing our leisure time, for your help. At every meeting you give us some pleasant gifts to cheer us up, make us smile. And even though these smiles are fleeting, the marvelous light illuminates the world. After all, it is so important for us to feel a positive attitude and believe that we are not alone and someone needs us. And pain is forgotten, there is a good spirit . We are pleased to get the good example of loving the life, try not to be sad, not to lose heart , to love this life our close friends. And no matter what trials wait for us, we try to keep active, to get involved in some useful work, to participate in all activities provided by the project, to enjoy every minute of it. Enjoy each moment of life . After all, living is so cool!
