The legendary band «The Prodigy» in Kiev

On June the 4th, the capital of Ukraine has been covered by the blast of the electronic madness raving from the main characters of 90th and the “electronic punks” of the modern music industry, the real legends – The Prodigy!
The participants of the project “A Ticket to Dream”, which is implemented by the “Union of NGOs for disabled of Kiev”, also had an opportunity to visit that unforgettable concert.

“There were a lot of people on the show. After finding our seats, we were looking forward to the beginning of the concert, chanting along with thousands of fans: «Prodigy, Prodigy, Prodigy!»” – Alexandra, the happy owner of a “ticket to a dream”, shares her impressions. Unexpectedly and extremely, with a frantic applause and roar of music and joyful roar of the crowd, the long-awaited idols came – it was the fantastic The Prodigy. Keith Flint and Maxim Reality said hello to the hall and began with a hit called «Voodoo People». The hall turned into a huge dancefloor, people were moving a unit from side to side, all were equal, no one noticed that some of the audience had special features… We hugged, danced, sang favorite hits in unison with thousands of voices.
During the performance of the song «Smack My Bitch Up», Maxim Reality commanded the audience to sit down. In the middle of the song there was a “calm”, all the people sat down, and when the chorus began… all of them simultaneously jumped up and got crazy! It was very cool! Overall, the atmosphere was warm, probably even family-like. People shook hands, “giving five” happy as children, smiling at each other. It was very hot in the hall because of the fiery human emotions.
Then, just as suddenly as it had appeared, the band left the stage. Of course, their fans didn’t plan to let them go that easily, they chanted: “More, more!”
The Prodigy finally came out for an encore, sang the final three songs, and then thanked their fans, saying that Kiev is the best city, and, having finished their speech, walked off the stage. Leaving a lot of positive emotions and nostalgia for the twentieth century.
Special thanks to the head and staff of the concert agency “Anschlag” for their support and assistance in creating a positive image of people with disabilities in society.
